Brigitte Vegter, Owner
Brigitte forms a connection with her business clients from the first interaction. As a successful business owner herself, she understands what it is like to lose sleep over that expense, stress about whether you can afford to hire that next person (or if you will even find the right fit!), and move past those hurdles all business owners face while growing to seven-figures and beyond. She will be the first person to say owning a business is hard!
Brigitte is an in-demand business coach, mentor, and accounting specialist, in addition to her roles as a busy wife and mom to three. When she’s not crunching numbers, she’s out exploring the world with her family. Whether it’s jet-setting to far-off destinations, off-roading in her Jeep at Silver Lake, or just enjoying some quality time at home, Brigitte knows the importance of creating everlasting memories with loved ones. Which is why she loves to help business owners also have that freedom.

- Brigitte played video games professionally when she was in college and does not like the smell of coffee.
- She would also love to get to a point where she is not living in one place longer than a month at a time.
James Vegter
Some of James’ favorite words are trustworthy, ethical, moral, and transparent, and he prides himself in being able to actively listen and discern.
When he isn’t busy being a father to his three children, James enjoys lifting weights and bass fishing both recreationally and competitively.
FUN FACT:
James was on the Cheer Team while undergoing his undergraduate studies from Western Michigan University.
Amy Stratton
In her free time she likes to unleash her creativity by crafting and working on home improvement projects.
FUN FACT:
- Amy started skating by the time she was 3 years old and was on the synchronized skating team at Western Michigan University.
Maddie Helwig
When Maddie isn’t hard at work, she spends time at home, taking care of her and her husband’s two young kids. She enjoys always developing her cooking and baking skills and occasionally does some leatherworking making wallets and other small projects.
FUN FACT:
- Maddie and her husband lived in Shanghai, China for a year and would love to go back if only to eat Chinese food every day.
Andrea Messer
With her unique perspective on business operations and financial management gained from supporting colleagues and business partners domestically and internationally, Andrea is committed to delivering results for your business.
FUN FACTS:
- Andrea loves good pizza and great wine. Her dream vacation is a trip to Italy to indulge in both.
- The only time she has traveled outside of the United States was on foot when she ran into Canada and back during a half marathon.
Mike Messer
As a process improvement guru, he knows how to boost productivity across all workflows. His key to success is identifying barriers that prevent companies from reaching their full potential by focusing on customer satisfaction spanning across all professional levels. Mike is passionate about delivering results that can be felt by business owners and their employees. He works hard to create amazing workplace cultures where everyone can achieve their goals and feel proud of what has been accomplished.

- Mike is an avid automotive enthusiast. He enjoys going to car events and sharing his passion for cars with others.
- His dream car? A SRT Viper ACR.
Erica Barry
Erica was born in northern Indiana, but has resided in Georgia for the last 18 years. In July 2023, Erica became a part of the Vegter Financial team, eager to foster growth, expand her knowledge, and assist numerous clients.
Engaging in DIY projects is one of Erica’s favorite pastimes, especially when it involves Dollar Tree crafts and furniture revamping. Erica and her husband have two children, and on the weekends can be found on Lake Allatoona or the softball field cheering on their daughter.
FUN FACT:
When Erica is not working as a bookkeeper, she works as a bartender for a mobile bartending company doing events for weddings, baby showers, holiday gatherings, and other assorted parties.
